Chris started her career in the disability field as a DSP while working on her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Iowa. She has worked in the field ever since, totaling over 30 years. She has held every position from Direct Support Professional to Program Director. Over the course of her career, she found a love for quality improvement, which in 2011 led her to MYEP and her current position of Co-Executive Director/Compliance Officer.

She is a staunch advocate for people’s rights and serves as the facilitator for MYEP’s Human Rights Committee.

In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, and playing with her two greyhounds.
