Our Payee Services are designed to provide financial support to individuals we serve, in the least restrictive capacity they need to assure successful financial management.
What to expect from our Payee Services
Our Payee Services are designed to help individuals and their families find affordable care in a compassionate community. This way, those who find housing with us are able to do so with sincere financial support.
These services are under the authority of the Social Security Administration (SSA), and are offered only to individuals who receive Residential Services from MYEP.
Reporting of financial information to SSA
All monetary resources, such as employment income, will be reported directly to the SSA in order to ensure accurate financial statements and concurrent support.
Likewise, documentation on the utilization of money—such as records of purchase receipts—will also be collected and subsequently reported.
Payment of living expenses
Our Representative Payee will be responsible for the direct payment of all bills that are deemed a necessity by their interdisciplinary team.
Budgeting of SSA money
Our Representative Payee will assist each person to develop and establishing a budget that is appropriate.
